About MAT

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes of the various participating institutes.
AIMA-MAT is usually conducted 4 times a year: generally on the first Sunday of February, May, September and December. The list of institutes that use the AIMA-MAT results varies from test to test.

Eligibility

The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree and are awaiting results can also apply.
MAT is a paper-based as well as computer-based test. A candidate can take any one of the two testing formats. While the paper-based test is conducted only one day, the computer-based test is conducted in the week following it over a window of approximately a week.

Admit Card

All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website link: http://apps.aima.in/matadmitcard.aspx
Specific Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opting for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test.

Admit Card contains Candidate's Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.
Candidates who have opted for Computer Based Test can choose the date and time slot of their choice, subject to availability. Date and time slot will be automatically allotted by the system to those candidates who do not select their slot upto 4 days before the Computer Based Test. No request for change of date and time slot will be entertained.
No separate Admit Card will be issued or dispatched.
